On the plus side, I’ve had a full end of year social calendar. On the down side, I’ve been having some pains in fingers & elbow which put me off doing too much online. Put together, this means blogging has slipped down my list of priorities a bit recently.
So last week I missed posting about International Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR, 20 November), which commemorates transgender people who’ve died because of stigma-related violence. But it’s never too late to remember, or to celebrate the lives & achievements of transgender people.
And here’s Area Scatter, who may or may not have thought of himself as transgender. He was apparently married with children, but that doesn’t really mean a lot, in a society where homosexuality and anything associated with it is generally frowned upon.
Intrigued? I leave you to do your own research.
