Monday Music: World AIDS Day collection #2

Because HIV is every day, not just on World AIDS Day, you get a bonus post of HIV-related footage for today’s Monday Music.

Our whirlwind tour of musical African HIV campaigns begins with Rap against AIDS in the DRC.

Back across the Gulf of Guinea to Togo, where the young people in this charming video are advised to use condoms. I’m not sure how they got this one past the abstinence-only brigade.

Heading south, we find an HIV flash mob in Botswana with a very special message for the guys.

And finally, in South Africa, we discover that flash mobs can even turn up at an HIV conference plenary. Which is really good to know, if you’re planning a trip to the International AIDS Conference in 2016.
